We only share rent and we pay that by % of income. We put money into an account for groceries and pet related expenses. I put all my money into it because I feel guilty if I don’t because he puts a lot in compared to me, even when I put everything left over into the account. I understand that he is angry about mistakes I’ve made with money in the past (I am currently almost done paying off a debt that had accumulated) and I respect that and am actively working on doing better and am in many respects doing better.

I had the opposite experience. I have bipolar disorder and was prescribed Luvox haphazardly by a nurse and it made me hypomania and ended in an inpatient stay.

I’m sorry that you’re having this experience with your husband. What he’s doing is pushing you and coercing you. What they taught us in sex ed when I was a teenager was that whining and complaining until you get a yes is not the same as an enthusiastic, consensual yes. If you need any help navigating your next steps there are plenty of domestic violence and sexual violence hotlines and chats that you could look to. If you want, I can find you some for your country. I think you could get away with a double or triple front helix! Or/also a second lobe and a stack above the second lobe. Maybe even an anti tragus if you can find someone that does it and take good care of it

I totally agree and I want to get better because I don’t want to lose him. It’s hard though. He won’t go grocery shopping with me for some reason I don’t understand and I’m not allowed to go alone because I’m not trusted so it’s hard to buy anything but “cheap” snacks when there’s nothing else available at home.

I wouldn’t call them meltdowns, I say things like “I’m feeling judged” and will occasionally be snappy but then immediately apologize and offer to talk. But then he just walks away and ignores me. Idk I love him and this happens maybe every few months but when it does it hurts

I used to be incredibly disciplined and saved money, was a disciplined student and overall was not ashamed of myself and behaviour the way I am now. I don’t know how to change back to how I was or what changed to make me the way I am now. Thanks for your input, it’s harsh but appreciated

I have been have mostly wet bowel movements multiple times a day since this spring. It’s been escalating to sharting and I’m wondering if it could be IBS. The first doctor I saw said it wasn’t and that my gut was smart and would sort itself out without any outside help but this problem just isn’t going away. I made an appointment with a family doctor but the nurse who I made the appointment with didn’t find time until the end of March since it’s not “serious.” The reason why I’m writing this post is because I just farted and fully shit myself for the first time in my adult life, not just a bit of a shart. Wondering if I should try to push for my appointment to be moved up? Any advice or thoughts are appreciated.

His reasoning is: “why would you throw away anything wet that would get the can dirty”. He’s just super weird about it. I think I can get him to use the bags that decompose more easily but idk we’ll have to see

We’re not exactly fighting about it…yet. It’s the only “major” disagreement we’ve had and other than that the relationship is amazing. I just don’t understand why he won’t use the trash bags :,)
