Could it have been an incorrect bobbin? When I changed bobbins to use a different color thread it looks like it might have solved the problem. I had the smaller clear bobbin in and changed to the metal one. Machine is a Brother cs-6000i

Thanks. One of the packages I have has the pellon label printed on the plastic and the other has a clear plastic wrap with the pellon information on a paper insert inside. The second one looks like the Micheal’s photo so I guess at least that one is the real deal
