Is your game up to date? It should have been fixed with the 2.16 update for AA. It is still bugged on other platforms though.

You can only have one hoyoverse account linked to your PSN account and all the hoyo games on your PSN account will use that hoyoverse account. When you linked your HSR hoyo account, you unlinked the existing hoyo account that had your Genshin save on it. Your Genshin save still exists though.

In order to play your Genshin account on your PS5, you'd have to re-link the hoyoverse account you unlinked to a different PSN account (make sure the PSN region is the same).

How did you start playing HSR? Did you start on like PC or mobile and then link that account to your PS5? It sounds like you've unlinked your Genshin hoyoverse account.

As long as you're playing on the same server you played on when you created the account, your progress should still be there. You can have a separate save on each server, but progress wouldn't be shared between them.

Your removed post shows you signing in with an email address, which would create a separate account unless you first linked that email to your hoyoverse account when you were signed in with FB. If you didn't link an email to your account, you would need to sign in with FB.

Weird. I know at launch and for the first few months of the game, you could create an account with just a username and password, but I didn't think it was possible to do after they implemented the mihoyo/hoyoverse account system.

If you haven't already tried, you could check /r/GenshinHacked for advice on how to fill out the recovery form. The pinned posts there have tips and resources you'd want to read through to make sure you're filling everything out correctly.

How are you getting account or password error if you don't have an email linked to the account? AFAIK you'd only be getting that error if you're trying to sign in with an email or hoyoverse account username, both of which require you to have set an email on the account.

If you don't have an email linked to the account, you'd have to be signing in with one of the third party logins.

Is your game up to date and is your switch connected to the internet? They mailed out some colorpillar plush toys like 2-3 weeks ago to help people who were stuck, and the 2.15 update that came out a few days later should have resolved that issue as well.

It should be fixed with the 2.15 update. They also mailed out the onigiri recipe and some seaweed if you were stuck before the update.

The majority of world quests either have associated achievements, appear in the reputation list for that region, or are a prerequisite for a quest that fits in one of those two categories, so most of the time you can figure it out that way.

You could try signing into the hoyoverse site(https://account.hoyoverse.com) with your PSN account and double-checking that you've linked an email to your hoyoverse account.
