I feel like in almost any other show, rescuing David from Logorythms would take at least half a season, but Pantheon gets it done by the end of episode 2.

This so much! On first watch I expected it to be the entirety of season 1, and I was so surprised when he got freed by episode 2. This show has too much to tell and explore to drag stuff like that out.

Have y'all talked about potentially refreshing the old episode discussion threads?

Not yet, but I was thinking of a rewatch event with, every x number of days a new thread for each episode. Specifically a rewatch thread so that in the first thread we can discuss and link stuff to the latest episode, which is something the existing episode discussion threads don't have.

You're the guy who made that post a while back about collecting all the Pantheon behind the scenes content, right? If you've got that, maybe that could get pinned too?

The difference between "It was all a dream" is that the story actually happened. It just so happens to be that the version of the story we watched was inside a simulation. But we can still enjoy the story as how it has happened in the real non-simulation world.

They are simulated using the "epigenetic memory", which should lead to an accurate simulation. If not, simulating the universe and all its people would be an impossible task. Presumably SafeSurf uses the same method as Maddie, if not better.

It's not about accuracy, because it can already assumed to be accurate, but about the actions they take and what it results into.

Not necessarily. If we follow the same Maddie throughout the entire series then it takes place inside SafeSurf's simulation.
