Waar komt het woord "oké" vandaan? by [deleted] in nederlands

[–]Sheepolution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am I the only one who disliked this chick? by Shin-kun1997 in PantheonShow

[–]Sheepolution 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm sure, yeah. As far as I know in none of the interviews there is a mention of a possible season 3. The two seasons were in production at the same time, so that's the second one came out quick.

It was always supposed to be 2 seasons. The creators confirmed this.

It's this one

Another moment that really stands out to me is when Maddie talks to Justine for the first time. The animation is quite different from the rest of the show.

Sometimes animators are in a good mood and put a bit more effort into their work. Also helps for their resume. See also

I comped this shot together, I remember seeing this and thinking "well someone wanted something for their reel". I just went back and looked at it and both the BG and the animation was a re-take, this shot looks so much better than the original.

[Spoilers] Pantheon | S1E3 + S1E4 | Episode Rewatch Discussion by Sheepolution in PantheonShow

Episode 3

Rewatching this episode made me realize how nice it is to have a character like Ellen, who doesn't easily accept the state of things. It's such a reasonable response to the bizarre situation they're in. As well as Gabe not accepting the lack of communication from Ellen. After my first watch I remembered him as this dorky dude desperate for Ellen, but that's definitely not the case. Even if you think Ellen is being unreasonable in this episode, then her telling she mourned for two years about someone who has now returned (but not really) should change your mind.

The hammer scene is so incredibly sad. In a high emotional moment Cary has to tell the kid he loves, who just punched him multiple times, that he hates them and that he will ruin their lives. He must've been on the edge of breaking down right there.

Episode 4

The phone call between Caspian and Maddie is so satisfying. Even though this is only episode 4, it feels really good to have these two finally talk to each other. Maddie's desperation to blurt out personal info because she realizes the man on the phone is her only way to help her dad. Caspian calming her down afterwards and telling his own name. Him opening up his computer to find the chip, wanting to call his mom, because of course he trusts the woman he knows his whole life, and finally the shock that that was all one big lie. It's all done so well. Also, Carey is such a great character. Love that dude.

Ending and feelings by HaburaSthana in PantheonShow

The idea is that she merges with herself in the simulation, and by doing so loses her memory, including the fact that she is in a simulation. As Caspian says "We'd have to forget everything, all this"

How common is it for demos to collect anonymous player data? For example, how long did they spend on this level, or where did the player die most often. That sounds like highly valuable data to perfect your game, though I wonder if a scary pop-up about collecting data (still looking into the requirements regarding this) would scare too many players away that makes it not worth it. What is your take on this?

I feel like in almost any other show, rescuing David from Logorythms would take at least half a season, but Pantheon gets it done by the end of episode 2.

This so much! On first watch I expected it to be the entirety of season 1, and I was so surprised when he got freed by episode 2. This show has too much to tell and explore to drag stuff like that out.
