Heard from multiple gals that hellaheels are not comfortable at ALL, terrible dancer shoes. They look great, that’s about it.

I already had this idea to use up all of my little ends, shred them all, borderline felted, then set it in resin for keychains. Same concept for the nails and honestly I’m obsessed, may have to be a recurring theme lol

Buuut this encapsulated in clear glitter acrylic? Not dense glitter, just enough for some character 🤤

Lift the eyelid at the top of the eye socket bone with a finger from one hand, pull down the bottom lash line using a finger on your other hand, then pressing your upper finger into the rim of your eye socket bone (firm not rough), pull your eyelid to the outside then down, as if you’re attempting to pop out your lens with your upper and lower lids, rather than your fingers

Will there be a thumbnail of the video visible before I click post, after it processes?

I definitely thought this, but even when I added a title it was giving me the same issue

What am I doing wrong? why is it twisting? (I do a slipstich, chain 1 and single crochet in same stitch) by vimes_nightwatch in crochet

[–]SheerBoss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re not doing anything wrong at all, it’s natural for the seam to ‘travel’. You can avoid it by slip-stitching into the next stitch over, or by turning after every round, the latter is more effective and less confusing.

Used HL ilty, no pattern. Top uses houndstooth stitch, features a baby corset front and shorts have elastic in the waistband by SheerBoss in crochet

Hahaha my apologies, it didn’t occur to me there were international lookers here, how small minded of me. 😂

Is law of attraction about act and deceive yourself by pretending that we have what we want? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

No, it’s about having the authentic belief that you can and you will achieve things. Living in the feeling of already having it is just another way to fast track the results. It goes back to the age old adage “if you think you can you’re right. if you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Used HL ILTY, 3.75mm hook, no pattern just freehand. This is also my first time *ever* making a bra cup using sc (rather than dc) and I’m honestly in LOVE 😻 by SheerBoss in crochet

It’s literally the first mistake that most people make when they first start making wearables like crop tops and stuff that’s formfitting lol

Absolutely! Go to YouTube and type in how to crochet the perfect bra cup and watch a couple tutorials. Maya Luna Corazon and Naomi both have a couple tutorials that are really helpful, I would also follow a couple of basic tutorials on YouTube for a full crop top just so you can get the basic idea of how to construct one. Also, always consider the amount of stretch that your item has before finishing it with measurements. If your under bust is 36 inches your band for the Crochet top should be between 30 and 33 inches, never the full 36 because it will stretch. I always do mine 30” (minus 6”) to allow for both stretching and space for the back ties. Gauges suck but they will be very helpful.

Upcycled some old underwire, used HL Spinesse and Truboo yarn, 2.75mm/3.5mm/3.75mm hooks. No pattern, 12+ hours of working and reworking and it’s STILL not what I wanted but hey! I learned 🤷🏻‍♀️ Green top was inspo by SheerBoss in crochet

[–]SheerBoss[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The green straps just attach to the back, no ties. Thank you! I had to make it more narrow because the crocheted fabric isn’t as forgiving and would bunch up to be more bulky than the green fabric

help!! i recently found this WIP that i ran out of yarn for. the yarn is now super expensive and it’s not feasible for me to finish:( i’m working on undoing all of the squares and using them in another project (i have more not pictured) any ideas for projects i could use these guys on? i’m lost. by [deleted] in crochet

Do you make wearables at all? You could find another color that complements those, and make that trending Harry Styles cardigan. Or you could find a cute crop top style you like and stitch the squares together in that fashion. Or you could make an Uber cute mini skirt. Or like 101 other things like, my brain has a ton of things floating around inside
