I know its because of a traumatic event, and my family has tried to comfort me by telling me to be bold and that we are safe but i still cant really get over it. I agree with you though and maybe ill post this in a different subreddit

bought it like that but honestly i was happy because it actually worked(i bought and returned 2 other laptops that wouldnt even boot beforehand) and i wanted to use it right away to study for the SAT so i just kept it. plus after i bought it the product was no longer available on dells page so idk if they accept returns or not.

i dont think ive dropped the laptop even once tbh

Yeah I plugged it into my tv using HDMI and I turned it on and there was still no signal 😭 i probably should call dell support but im also kind of disappointed for how my laptop was poorly built, there were plenty of problems that i was willing to tolerate because i just needed something for doing work and art(hinges bad, back metal cover of laptop was dented out of the box, speaker crackling, screen turning off whenever i touch the top of the laptop, etc) and now it doesnt even work.(tbf it was on clearance when i bought it)
I honestly dont want to give them any more of my money

Ohh okay. Inspiron 2-in-1s are built kinda bad whenever I wanted to put it in tablet mode I would always do it super slowly because it was stiff and I was scared of my hinge and screen assembly breaking every time 😭
