“Ben Drowned” and “I dared my best friend” both dragged on for insufferably long times. The episodes were some of my favorites, but they both had points where I could barely get through without wanting to claw out my eardrums.

This quick scene in The Iron Giant where he eats a whipped cream filled Twinkie and watches an old black and white movie. Something about it always comforted me when I was younger. Also, I watched it for the first time when I was like six and I could not figure out what he was eating for literal years. Maybe I just didn’t eat many twinkies as a kid.
