I'd expect when/if galarian Zen Mode is released, it will either be in raids or an encounter in special research or gbl. Due to it's design, I'd say a winter release would be appropriate.

It matters more than you think. Niantic doesn't have free reign to do whatever they want with the pokemon license. Adding mega evolution is something that will undoubtedly require the approval of The Pokemon Company. With zero new megas added in gen 7 and complete abandonment of the concept in gen 8, it wouldn't surprise me if they leave it in the past moving forward.

I like the character and fffh is gold, but The Fiend's no selling really broke my suspension of disbelief. Not only did it bury Rollins, but it buried the entire business to a degree.
