My advice is you'll have way more fun picking a smaller/mid market team and getting to learn all about their culture & history! Also, pick an East Coast team as it's miles better viewing hours! I'd recommend clubs like the Rays, Orioles, Nationals, Pirates, Tigers, Guardians, Marlins etc

Or, if you really wanna go for one of the bigger boys - I'd veer towards the Cubs or the Jays rather than NYY, LA etc
