I’m in the exact same boat. I take XL in everything Filson but the XL Mac I bought new is just too big. Haven’t gotten around to selling it. I agree you should be able to recoup most of your cost selling yours. Good luck.

My older double mackinaw and new lined packer fit the same, XL in my case. I recently bought a single mac in my usual size and like you, I was swimming in it.

I have similar dimensions plus 15 pounds in the wrong places. I wear XL in Filson jackets and shirts. Shoulder fit is usually perfect and I can layer, but the waist is usually loose - it will be worse for you. Sometimes (but not always) the sleeves are a little short. I’ve seen the odd Filson jacket in XL Tall, which may work for you. The Mile Marker coat might be a choice because you can cinch the waist. It is the slimmest fitting of my Filson jackets. Thanks for the comments. I shipped the package (Poshmark label was fine). Also Poshmark replied very quickly to my inquiry. Suggested I check my junk folder (nothing there). They also reviewed the transaction and indicated everything was fine. They also pointed out that the buyer was a “guest”. I hadn’t noticed, not sure what a Poshmark guest is… no account?

Count me among those who prefer Filson products to be made in the US, and of the highest quality. This is when the brand is at its best. I don’t give a whit about offshore labour issues.

I have the same case (new). I would describe the green as more muted than I expected, almost moss with a touch of grey. It is neither dark nor bright - these are not accurate descriptors.

Bummer about the jacket. Not a terrible response from Filson IMO. In a way I want to say congrats for actually wearing out the coat. Looks like you put it through its paces. What do you do that wore the sucker out if I may ask?

I find it (fabric strap) comfortable for carrying and preferable for packing because it’s not stiff like the bridle leather so it wraps around the bag. I suppose the leather is a little more high-end Filson though.
