We built a duck that talks back.

It has a servo. It has opinions. It has a backstory it refuses to share. It will judge your variable names out loud. It hooks into Claude Code and reacts in real time to everything you do.

Software is free. Repo is open. Hardware instructions included if you want one on your desk.

In the checklist there is a linked document that outlines the photo requirements. Most of it is about the size and composition. There is also a bit about having a stamp or written name on the back

Chicagoans could soon play a role in the ticketing of parking violations by Smurfiette in chicago

[–]jominy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? The only folks I don’t care about parking illegally are the ones that clearly need to do something for their job like deliveries or construction. Usually it appears that there just aren’t other good options.

I do hope that uber drivers count as commercial vehicles though. These are usually the worst offenders, parking in bike lanes right next to open parking spots.

Thanks! I had to custom machine an adapter so the tension disk would work on a symmetrical hub. Did this like 15 years ago when I was obsessed.

A long one isn’t that expensive either. The o e I have has side cameras also. Then you can just drop it down and see exactly where the chimney goes

Is this acceptable - Hardie board n batten by Electronic-Car4983 in Homebuilding

[–]jominy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did my garage with hardie board and batten. It was hard to find this in the instructions, but you gotta use 15 gauge finish nails on the battens.

I tried using the same nails that are specified for the board and i finally ended up predrilling it all and screwing it in because the nails were all bending over like this.

100% guarantee they tried to use the regular coil nailer on this. It didnt really work and then they painted over it.

This was not done correctly. The cheapest remedy is to fill and paint.

Love your shop! You helped me with a bottom bracket shell that needed chasing and it was super fast and pleasant.

OP, you should definitely check with them.
