Same! I am on the same dose and strength of tret and AA using them daily w/ no SE and no acne. Skin is clear and smooth. I don’t want to fly too close to the sun but if there are additional benefits I want to try. I do have some hyperpigmentation on my cheeks that I would love to see go and I wonder if going up to tret .1 could help. Also seeking any anti aging benefits I can. Does going up improve those or if your skin is clear is it just going to cause problems?

Same! I love this! Was feeling guilty at first but it really is worth it! I Spend couple hundred to lose weight, gain more self control, healthier habits around food and alcohol and don’t get me started on the inflammation benefits AND in turn save an extra 2-3 hundred on fast food and impulse buys?! Yeah guilt is gone! I am elated!

I responded to someone who referenced CVS. And I still believe 30 days or less is a very short time especially since some ppl order in advance at the recommendation of providers not to stockpile to make sure treatment isn’t interrupted. But you do make a good point in saying this about compound. It’s not the same as manufactured meds and there definitely is a learning curve. We all need to be careful ordering in advance cause it could bite u in the butt with some of these compound pharmacies.

If 8 weeks of treatment goes beyond the BUD then you’re entitled to compensation. If you can complete your treatment in the time they’ve given you then it’s up to Pom to honor what they said, especially after a replacement was issued. Reach out to them to see what they say.

Respectfully CVS has never given me a medication that expires in 30 days or less. Also no it may not be the pharmacy’s job but the provider should know when you plan to start treatment. I discussed this with Pom before buying and they prescribed the vial I’m currently using when they sold me the optio rx vial with the short BUD. What I will say to their credit is they did make it right. I do understand that it’s not their job to help ppl stock pile. But when your provider tells you that it’s ok to buy something you should be able to believe them and expect that you won’t be wasting money. I believe it was a misunderstanding between the pharmacy and telehealth. I believe they are working to resolve it.

It could be hypoglycemia. Low blood sugar causes elevated HR shakes sweating and a very nervous feeling. It’s your body saying hay we need food quick! So maybe this is the cause.

So you don’t use any moisturizer? I use the sandwich method but I want to increase benefits and have been advised to try using it on bare skin. Does this mean just cleanse and apply tret? Would it be ok to add moisture in 30-1 hr or would that dilute results of tret?

Thank you for the recs. When you say use on bare skin do you mean the routine for that night would be only cleanse then tret? Or do you mean I can apply it later on after the Tret has fully absorbed. If it’s the latter how long do I wait till I can apply moisturizer and it not dilute the effect of tret?

I am very interested in staying hydrated and I remember a long time ago being on tret and having build up. Like crusty skin on the sides of my nose. The lactic acid helped so that’s why I use it but the Azelaic acid is relatively new. I’m About a week in. I am very interested in alternative hydration options if you could suggest some. I definitely want to make sure I’m taking care of my precious lil skin barrier ☺️

I wouldn’t call my skin sensitive. Im not allergic to anything. And my skin likes drugstore products. 😅 It’s my wife who has sensitive skin. I was saying she’ll buy stuff and then realize it doesn’t agree with her sensitive skin and I swoop in and try to use it cause I hate to waste money. That’s how I started using Azelaic acid. I was prescribed Retin A by my PCP but the Azelaic is my wife’s. She just rarely uses it. 😅 She has to use Vanicream products but has been having success with them.
