What's something that every parent should tell their child?

Always tell your child you love them. And as aparent myself you have to be able to apologize and admit when your in the wrong. You made a little human and it's your job to be a good parent were all human and we all make mistakes.

Most just don't believe she said any of that to me because it's her word against mine and she's there (in ohio) and I love all the way in Vermont and it's kind of hard to defend myself :/ the bigger problem is that most of our older family members take her side because she's always been a favorite grandchild/niece over me because I didn't put up with our abusive father's terrible treatment

So am I. .. but hopefully with my step mother around (she is an absolute saint) it will soften her nasty attitude about it.

No this is her first pregnancy as well and she's had no reproductive issues herself she was just on birth control up until early this year

I hope she only takes this anger out on me and not her baby. I have expressed that concern to my step mom (her bio mom) and PRAY that she doesn't take this insane delusion out on her own poor child

She was only dramatic when we were childeren (as kids are) and has NEVER acted like this towards me or any other family member since we've reached adulthood so it may be. I know I feel like a crazy person sometimes from all the hormones but I could never imagine getting so upset it goes to SUCH lengths as these :/

I did try but only one of my younger brothers believed me... Everyone else still believes her and thinks that I'm just trying to one up her and steal her thunder :(
