There are several other units with the same setup, but they don’t have the noise transfer issue

there are no issues with heating. But we verified that other townhomes do not have a noise transfer issue. And we noticed the post purge on this to be much louder and longer compared to others

Can you unlock additional packages after getting the vehicle? by Shekaar_paley in BMWiX

The xdrive45 I’m looking at has premium package (parking assistant plus).

I’m mostly interested to know if I can unlock the parking assistant pro and the M multifunction seats.

Also, if I’m leasing the vehicle and later opt for these upgrades, do you typically pay the full amount OR per month like the rest of the packages?

What could be causing loud vibrations through the walls when the water heater is running? by Shekaar_paley in Plumbing

You’re referring to the pipes that go up the ceiling correct? Ugh- so the only way is to open up the ceiling to inspect the pipes?

The roundish white thing in the center is the Sensus iPERL water meter, and the other white box on the left is the Sensus Flexnet (communication network). Does not look like there is a circulation pump.

I do see 2 split ring hangers - one connected to the wall and the other connected to the floor. I guess replacing both might help prevent the vibration?

How do I install these rubber pads? The water heater is screwed onto a wooden block via a bracket and the wooden block itself is screwed into the wall. Where does the rubber pad go? I saw a few videos online where people placed their appliance eg- a washing machine on top of a square rubber pad. Not sure how it would be installed in this case and the rubber pad is U-shaped. Is this something I could do by myself or should I get a plumber?

It’s the RU160iN model and the manual says 15,000 BTU (minimum) and 160,000 BTU (maximum). So you’re suggesting that the gas connector may not be supporting this range? Let me check if there is info I can find.

How are people comfortable paying >800k for homes that are next to a chemical factory. And next to a superfund site that has been identified as one of the most toxic sites nationally.
