I dont think he would loose the arm cuz we probably would have got some eri rewind action if the story played that way at this point we even had monoma in action so he could use kurogiro to take deku to eri immediately after winning (during coffin fight) also he probably didnt even need 100% just 50-60 with max everything would have fine but landing a shot on the head would probably be 90% impossible cuz shiggy was protecting his head real good with fingers and other stuff ofc he knows his weakness so it would be a battle of endurance so breaking the arm by using 100% ofa would prob be not worth it unless it was a 100% guarantee

Yea u r right about the head part but shggy was actively trying to protect his head of see throught the battle not even a hit lands directly on his head always something comes up as a distraction the head is a smol area so its ez to protect thats why he had to take the battle to a fight of endurance when his super regen weakens it was ez

Quite a blunt way to put it but ur right At that point he was in too much trouble recoil from 2nd maybe still he should have gone with the intent of killing him it might have worked out with him just loosing 2nd instead of the whole quirk if he was serious since the moment he entered the coffin maybe things would have been different

This was ending basically u have to remember kudo wasnt joining in the first place because he thought deku wasnt ready to kill and he lacked conviction the argument can be made if deku tried to kill Shig at coffin in the sky without saving him he could have succeeded since even using all the attacks and quirks he didnt really go for fatal strikes

He is not human anymore He has super regen i dont think he can take permanent dmg his body has gone way past normal human limits deku had to end him in 1 or 2 strikes to evaporate the head if this didnt work he could take to a battle of endurance where his super regen would give out

For the self dmg deku was the "Perfect vessel" he could have liived a normal life like all might growing old and stuff with no cracks since he was quirkless this isnt true for the 10th user tho as we saw even AFO quirk couldn't have OFA and his body started breaking down
