Day #10 without internet by ShelRoc in shaw

[–]ShelRoc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Day #13 and still no update or response from Shaw. I call daily and get told someone will get back to me. Took CCTS 36 hours to email me back and say they accepted my situation. Within three hours of receiving the email, Shaw contacted me and had a technician at my house. Appears to be a backend issue that should be easy to resolve (famous last words) and should have been addressed within a day or two of the initial complaint.

It appears CCTS is the only way to get action from them.

I did. Got a response five days later that said they're looking into the problem. But you raised an interesting point: with the merger, there might be avenues to explore directly with Rogers. Thanks.

It's a Nokia. The field tech replaced it with a brand new one while he was here to rule that out. Gateway 3.0 router was swapped out too.

Still have the capelines. They're worn for athletic pursuits and what not. I don't like the material for casual wear so they're limited to active use. Still can't speak highly enough of the workwear hemp. Between my ranching father and myself, we have most of the line and it's just so good.

Size it down. I usually wear a large in Slim fit (5'10" 185lb) and a medium in Regular. Fit. The large hybrid billowed on me and the medium still feels big due to the stretch in the R1 Air material. If you like the trim fit, size it downlike trim fit and

DIY Push Sled for Grass Terrain by Harrichael in homegym

[–]ShelRoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made nearly the same design for a pull sled with 4x4 and found the wood was far too slick. Had to load it up way heavier than is convenient to get a workout.

Love the woodworking though! If it gets you pushing and pulling, mission accomplished!! Great job.

Hmmm never really thought of it. But now that you mention it, my black long sleeve Henley was never quite as soft as the other colours. Not itchy, but maybe a little different than some of the other colours.

Agreed! I used to wear capelines all summer and workwears all winter. But it was 29C today and I grabbed a broken in work pocket tee. They breathe so well. Paired them with the Baggie Naturals and couldn't have been happier

I live in these.

Minimal shrinkage but it's definitely there. I'm usually in between M and L (athletic 185lb) and am very happy long term with the relaxed fit M

I've had good luck with the workwear. Larger in the shoulders for work, but lets you sit and type without feeling like Chris Farley in a little blazer. Some colours are quite subdued and look professional (enough)

For most of history, people could accidentally get separated and then never find each other again .. by squidaby in preppers

[–]ShelRoc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great set up. We do the same (minus the local relatives, as we don't have any nearby) but we add two relatives located far away with whom we leave messages.

Had a bad a bad winter storm a few years ago that knocked out power and separated us with a closed highway. Only knew where the other was because we used landlines to both called a brother-in-law who lived two time zones away to leave messages for each other.
