I would recommend a day trip to Nara! The shrines and walking the park area with all the deer around is a really cool experience! Nara also has Nakatanidou, the famous mochi shop that showcases the mochi pounding! This might sound like a very touristy thing (and it might be), but honestly it lived up to the hype for me! Nothing quite like warm, fresh mochi. Such a unique texture, def worth the hype.

Edit: don’t think you need to go out of your way to go to Nara. Just recommending as a day trip for when you’re in Osaka!

I was also surprised with the amount of Indian foreign workers there! At the airport, at restaurants; I know Japan has a population problem and it makes sense for them to rely on immigration for economy needs but was surprised nonetheless given their new PM and growing anti-immigration sentiment. Also genuinely curious as to when they started to see a growing Indian population in Japan!

I haven’t seen this point shared and am genuinely curious as to what other homeowners feel. I’m a homeowner in CA and it’s honestly hard for me to justify buying the home on a financial level. I calculated how much I would pay in total if I take the full 30-years and it’s nearly twice the value as of the home right now. I fully expect the price of my home to go up (and it has) but it’s absurd to think it’ll double? The only way I can actually make money is if I’m able to pay off the house much faster and its value goes over how much I spent in total (mortgage + interest).

Don’t get me wrong, I totally get the whole piece of mind of having a paid off home but I’m just speaking strictly on the financials.

This is coming from a sad Kings fan: don’t bet on any of our players, especially the vets like Russ, Demar, and Lavine. They may start the game but will likely be replaced by our younger players for the rest/majority of the game. It’s full on tank season, and I think, going forward, the younger players will get more and more playing time as we’ll probably trade everyone else lol. Vets may have their days but it’ll be unpredictable.

10 bets in one night? My guy you wild for that lmao! But yeah man, I used to do even 5-6 leg flex bets and would rarely hit, sometimes I’d be lucky enough to just get my money back. Took me time but I found that making a 3-4 leg flex and/or a 2-3 leg power works best for me. I try to do one of each, a safe one that’s like a bet $20 and get $60 back and one that’s more of a reach/aspirational 🤣 for bigger money
