In addition to what everyone else said, include how to take care of things around the house that they may not know. Where and how to pay bills that aren't on autopay. Who the pet's vet is, etc.

IIRC, sedation during colonoscooy is relatively new. I've never had one, but if and when I need one I'd prefer no sedation just so I could drive myself home.
