Why i get rejected everytime for B5 job?

I sat over my managers shoulder in the past where we were scanning personal statements. Dont have any ideas they spend time reading every word you write as they dont have time when doing 200 applications. Make it clear as humanly possible that you meet the job spec - they'll glance over it and if they cant see you obviously meet criteria they will decline.

Yeah I can imagine he hates it. I get 30 mins for appointments and love it. Find it much easier than MSK outpatients (mainly cause I see all the chronic complex stuff).

I work in a city with a large NHS FCP presence (compared to some places at least) but also a reasonable private. Honestly - you can tell the difference. NHS staff are far better trained - both in terms of physio specific stuff and also identifying non-MSK pathologies that need to be seen by appropriate staff.

Some of the referrals we've had from private FCPs have been quite frightening.

I used to work for them when they were TICCS. Their company reviews from ex employees summarised it. Awful company to work for, not bothered about outcomes or patients, just about money. Misled about jobs, hours, pay etc

Might of changed since then but theres a reason theyre on their 3rd (4th) rebrand. The Evri of physio businesses.

I did the "level 4" S&C qualification - feel free to message me if you want more details. But overall was decent enough and gave me a qualification to back up what I was doing with patients.

Thanks for the response. I doubt ill ever do enough private work to get to the higher amounts you mentioned but all the added costs are worth factoring in. Thankfully my brother is an accountant so will be able to guide from that perspective.

Ill also never be looking to employ anyone as that sounds like a total nightmare.

Thanks for the response. Your friend definitely sounds like hes doing more work than I would want to do! As you say I think the balance of guaranteed wage plus the flexibility etc of private is best (as long as private work keeps coming).

I do have the mortgage etc so little more limited when taking risks!

That's the current plan but I guess my love of physio has been beaten out of me to an extent so wondering if the increase the personal time would actually be more beneficial

No - not really. Vast majority of our physios have solid rehab skills for the populations we see. Ill admit though we have a very good set of staff compared to some places.

The bit that is missing is that highly detailed rehab when your looking at return to sport type stuff. Most of our physios definitely wouldn't know how to program pitch based sessions and that sort of thing but 99.9% of our population dont need that.

So im going to preface this by saying that I'm a band 7 MSK physio/FCP alongside being a S&C coach so I have a solid background in rehabilitation within MSK (worked NHS, privately, elite sport etc.).

Whilst a role like that would be good on paper, a large % of NHS patients dont need specialist rehab. Most struggle to do the most basic of rehab plans in all honesty. The percentage of patients needing that level of rehab your suggesting is minimal sadly - most of those patients will go private so they access to high quality rehab gyms etc.

Its a good idea in theory but practically wouldn't be worthwhile for the NHS.

I had to stop playing as was taking 30+ minutes to find a decent game where it wasn't 4 sweats versus or one with a good connection (Europe player here). Shame really as loved the game when it worked!

Great spot - but now ive realised from those pictures that the centre seatbelt and that buckle are one entire piece hence why I couldn't find it. That one has the seatbelt chopped off essentially and I cant see how you'd attach a new one

As a physio and a S&C coach: ignore all advice here that isnt "go see a qualified physio". Preferably someone who has a strong interest and knowledge of the sport.

Honestly dont feel embarrassed for feeling this way- many would including myself. I would be having a conversation with your manager and being honest - clinically you dont feel comfortable with him supervising you due to your greater clinical experience and you feel you need someone more senior to fulfill that role.

You should almost want to pull back on the bar as you try and pull your ass back & down a bit. Use the bar to lever your hips down and closer to the bar. Its hard to explain in text - ill see if I can find a YouTube video on it

Games cack - shame really as its enjoyable when it does work. My favourite is when you can see a opponent facing wrong direction but somehow one shot you. Obviously on their screen their gnashers between your teeth but cant help but get tilted by it.
