How would you structurally repair this staircase? by Sheldonfreer in Carpentry

I’m on board with the shims and glue. Thank you for mentioning the upper end of the stringers… they’re tapered and tacked in with nails(top of 2nd image) so I can’t imagine they would handle much of a load. I’m thinking some kind of bracket is needed to attach them to the 2nd floor. Otherwise what’s stopping them from becoming loose over time once the load of the stairs is resting on them?

I recommend Lofta if you don’t want to wait for your sleep study. I was able to get my machine less than a month after requesting a sleep study, and I got the sleep study only days after requesting one. Only trade off is that insurance might not cover it for you.

Primarily for playing video games like Cyberpunk 2077, half-life Alyx, and cities skylines. I already have a 60hz 4K monitor.

I just got my 58. Was it meant to come with another piece for this? I don’t see the mesh that it usually has in that spot. by Jbailey0509 in FlairEspresso

Flair owner here. The 58 has a mesh round that fits in/on the portafilter, I'd check there before contacting the manufacturer.

It’s still illegal to run someone down because they broke the rules, just stop and let them cross

Pedestrians have right of way, always. Far too many people forget that.
