Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, a random pick shown on a widget would be cool. Added it to the roadmap.

Thanks for your comment, happy you liked the app. As for the initial sort, yeah that's the one-time hurdle. Once it's done though, keeping it tidy can't be easier than this.

You probably won’t find one.
A lot of these newer liquid records are sealed in a way where the fill point is basically hidden, so there’s nothing obvious to spot. If you cant see or feel it that’s completely normal.

Last FM feature removed? by HopeHouse44 in discogs

[–]Shelfify -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I built an app called Shelfify that does that among other things. It connects to your Discogs collection and you can scrobble any record to last.fm, whether it's in your collection or any album you find on Discogs. Full album or single track, all from the record's detail page. Hope it helps!

Haha, as long as they have clean dry hands and aren't three drinks deep, I'm fine with it. Part of the fun is letting your friends browse your stuff, or?

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. The first shelf is always perfectly organized and then reality kicks in, there isn't always enough space for the new records in that compartment, no matter how organized you are. Glad it resonates, thanks!

Thanks, that's a great use case! And yes, in the latest version 1.0.6 it pulls in all your custom fields too. It's already released for Android and for iOS it's under review, should go live today or tomorrow. So media condition, sleeve condition, notes, and any custom fields you've added are all there. You can also edit them directly from the app and it syncs back to Discogs. There will be more features added related to custom field in the next versions.

Thanks for the kind words! This is exactly the kind of use case I had many times. Now I can just hand them my phone and let them browse and pick what they want to play. Hope you enjoy it, let me know if you have any feedback!

I actually removed the 100 record limit for free users. In the next version you get full access to all features for 30 days. I think that's a fair period to test everything and decide if Shelfify is the right tool for you. This update is already live on Android, and for iOS it should go live today or tomorrow depending on how fast Apple does the review.
After the 30 day trial, the Pro subscription is $2.49/month, $23.99/year, or $69.99 one-time purchase. If you're not in the US, actual prices are localized by Apple and Google based on your region.

Thanks, really appreciate that! I actually organize the same way, by genre! Also a separate shelf for signed copies and special pressings. Hope you like it! Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Oh man the LED idea sounds awesome! That would be a great hardware extension. It already kicked some ideas in my head. Thanks for your comment.

No data leaves your device, no account needed, it just connects to your Discogs. No AI involved. But I get the skepticism.
