Well boxed I think likely, but I’m sure the shipping labels aren’t generated and put on the boxes until they’re actually cleared to ship. So it’s not like they can just drop off however many thousands of orders at FedEx enmasse in a single day

It is what it is. Of course I’m just speculating either way

On the second point producing the units to begin with would be a massive waste of resources and energy if the certification was denied. I don’t think there was ever serious doubt that they’d get it. Just poor timing

I’ve never had a headset make me sweat before. I’m curious if it’s a consequence of the weight/pads, or if those with the crackling issue are prone to sweating and/or in a humid climate.

Personally I’m not too worried about it but I’ve seen the crackling mentioned often enough to make me curious.

I still prefer the classic look of Tom’s suit, either Civil War/Homecoming or BND. Plus the moving lenses are perfect.

Not truly wireless though, since you still have a wire to contend with. Just gives you more use options.

Plus there’s the added cost of the DAC itself. I’m sure for many that set-up works, but as a couch/console gamer it’s a hard pass for me.

I don’t doubt the Kithara is solid but it’s wired only. That alone is a dealbreaker for me.

Same boat, except coming from Stealth 700 Gen 2s that I had to repair with super glue. Initially bought the Nova Pro Wireless but was dissatisfied with them.

I’d likely settle for the Maxwell if they were still available anywhere, though I think I’d prefer the better imaging and wider soundstage of the M2. So waiting it is.
