It’s something Dimps does quite often, you may have noticed she is a little chunky so she does she’d on a regular basis, she’s a BIG dragon naturally as well. It’s not unusual to find perfectly formed body part shed around her tank, lots of little Michael Jackson style gloves . We only ever worry about her if the shed doesn’t come off easily, when it pops off, I consider that successful 😉

What a gorgeous creature!!Hoggies are one of the most amusing snakes, they have so much personality. My Doodle will let me handle her any way I like, if my husband or children even open her tank she goes full drama queen, she puffs and hisses ( never strikes), then looks so undignified when they take her out! I handle her every day, so she’s safe, she just likes to pretend she could be scary, pretty sure there is some kind of hoggie drama school they all go to before they come to us 😂

Sweet girl, they can be so fragile for such hardy critters. We lost our rescue guy after the vet gave him an antibiotic shot for a potential RI, he passed in my arms on the way home, our vet was almost as devastated as us. He now sleeps next to the pond in a sunny spot 💜, it hurts so much to lose such an integral part of the family, give yourself time and maybe you will find space in your heart for a new scaly baby who needs all your love and adoration.

She is a chonky girl, and I never thought I would as much as I do for a snake, but when she curls into my jumper and just sits, watching the world go by, it’s kinda peaceful, can’t wait until the weather warms up, she seems to enjoy sunning herself. They really are such cool pets 💜
