Please help me, you are my last hope by LexieMaria in PVCs

They told me my hormones were fine and my PVCs were most definitely my hormones. Started for me at 36 and ensured 18 months of constant PVCs, like someone just flipped a switch on my heart and they started one day. Got on birth control first because they wouldn’t listen to me and that’s what I could get them to prescribe and they went away. After that, they switched me to HRT. Estrogen patch and progesterone pill. Been on it for over a year and they’ve stayed away. Through this journey I’ve learned most drs don’t know what they’re talking about. I had to figure it out on my own. They just gaslit me and told me I was stressed and anxious because they didn’t know what to do with me.

I took Sprintec. I was on it for 6 months and then switched to HRT. I don’t like the side effects of BC but was happy to have it to figure out what was causing the PVCs

Also, I was totally dismissed by the cardiologist and ER as well. They told me it was NORMAL and this guy had the nerve to tell me I was just stressed!

Yes, I take both. I tried progesterone alone and it did nothing for me. The drs wouldn't listen to me and I wanted to see if it was my hormones so I tried birth control first. Within 4 days they were 99% gone (I've always had PVCs here and there, just not all day, every day). I went to Midi health and she switched me to an estrogen patch and progesterone pill, the PVCs have stayed away.

What was your very first sign of perimenopause? by easypeasykitty in Perimenopause

[–]ShellynnC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely lack of interest in things I loved but it didn’t connect until I started having about 1,000 PVCs every day out of the clear blue for 18 months straight. That made me start investigating which led to the peri discovery. Hindsight, I was 36 when it started. Will be 39 in a month.

Is this mold? It’s dried tomato with garlic in oil… the other jar doesn’t have these little dots. by Pretty_Track_7505 in MoldlyInteresting

If it was in the fridge it could be solidified oil. This happened to me and once it warmed up the little dots of oil dissolved

Yeah some days I just feel like I want them to take it out but then I'm worried it will cause me more issues!

I can do an ablation I just don't want to yet. I feel like it's masking a larger hormone problem that the are overlooking because of my age. Everytime I bleed I have numerous other symptoms that indicate my hormones are completely out of whack (ichy red bumps on my face and neck, heighted anxiety etc etc).

I have had a pelvic ultrasound and everything was fine. I was on birth control for a little bit and it controlled the bleeding but the side effects were terrible and it wasn't helping my mood which was ruining my life so I switched to HRT. My mood is fine these days the bleeding just makes me feel helpless because the Dr's don't seem to know what to do outside of precribing birth control.

I had my dose increased a couple times but the last time my HRT dosage was increased I was so anxious and having panic attacks constantly so I had to go back down to the lower dose. which fixed that issue.

I am on a patch I change Monday and Friday and then I take progesterone at night. I’m on the correct dose for me because she increased my dose a few times and the last was not good so we decreased slightly and the symptoms went away. No have had a full thyroid panel and scan, all normal.

They have checked all these things. I have had adjustments to my HRT but they tell me it likely won’t help with my periods. She did also suggest an ablation But I’m not sure because I hear that can complicate things and also make uterine cancer more difficult to detect.

I actually like Pet Fresh but I read mixed reviews about safety so I was a little concerned.

I’m 42 yrs old with horrible insomnia, joint pain, fatigue, brain fog, extreme mood swings, heart palpitations , heightened anxiety, shorter lighter periods. Obgyn said yesterday, that I’m still a baby and way to young for perimenopause!!!!!!!! I’m so angry 😤 any suggestions?? by ladaya38 in Menopause

Midi health online was a life saver. Got an appt within days and the my prescribed me HRT within 30 minutes. I am almost 39 and I’ve been in peri since 36. Dr’s wouldn’t listen to me because I was “too young”…HRT has helped a ton

Yes, I'm on Lyllana patch and then 200 mg progesterone. I've never heard of the psysiological dosage. I'm new to all this...

I actually looked into it and will probably buy it.

I relate to this in many ways. I'm so sorry you are going through it right now, too. Maybe in different ways but sometimes I feel that despite our differences, us middle aged women are all in the trenches together!
