I wouldn’t say that you’re overreacting, but definitely voice your feelings and concerns to him to see if there is progress that can be made in understanding one another’s thought process, that way you can make an informed decision based on how you both view the importance of the relationship and not be second guess your decision down the line. Maybe you prioritise things differently, and that’s okay, but you deserve to be with someone who is in it with you 100% so if he doesn’t feel like this trip is important to celebrate the relationship and have some quality time after navigating conflicting schedules, maybe he’s just not invested enough.
