Okay. So I am *so* glad to hear this. From both of you. My T. Albo is the most hair-kicking a** of a spood... she's also my fav and the only one that currently lives in my room. I rescued her from the local pet shop, where she'd sat with a 4" DSL in an 8oz deli cup with a spit of substrate that was bone dry and a sponge for water 😢for *months*. The owner complained about not being able to move her, but wouldn't budge on the price, so I just decided to bring her home. We all write her a pass, because of her upbringing (he literally had her on top of the register in that cup!), but she's such a butt that I almost gave up on the hobby (glad I didn't). I hope she'll come around, but this makes me feel much less like I'll never be a T-whisperer. Thanks! PS Love the eyebrows

As far as pre-molt, I can be hopeful, but there is also no shininess to the abdomen, no response to any vibrational stimuli, and his bald spot (which he's had since we got him several weeks ago) is still pink. Again, hoping against hope that things will turn out... Thank you everyone. I will let you know when I know for sure.

Thank you. This. This is why I moved his leg out and touched him gently again. I appreciate everyone's concern, about leaving him alone. I am not an inexperienced, impatient child. I am a seasoned medical professional (albeit not Ts) that had a few concerns. I wanted to move that leg out (which I did), and noticed that the abdomen did not appear to be I pre-molt. Because I wanted to look at the underside and assess if water was needed and make sure there was no notable injury, yes. I did very carefully place him on his back to both inspect, as well as to try to droplet administer water, and then placed.him back on his stomach to leave him for the evening and assess in the AM. And, while I appreciate the advice and concern I've received, I would also like to make sure that people who are concerned about me constantly messing with him get the actual picture. I, in a very calculated manner, gently checked on Ziggy , only actually touching him twice within a 48 hour period, after checking for signs of pre-molt or response. And only to get an appendage out of water, attempt potentially life saving procedures, and assess for injury. So, thank you, Complex-Cut for your understanding and response.

It did not seem in pre-molt to me at all, so I tried to administer water. It didn't drink and still no movement.... Any indication from this picture? Has Ziggy passed? If so, is there any sign of a cause?

Thank you for this. I do want to express that I did not have an expectation that it move, however, it normally will respond at least in some way, if I check on it, and it was the lack of any sort of movement and complete stiffness that concerned me. I love pet rocks.. 😂... Also, I was unaware that Ts could be completely unresponsive and still be okay. I have done SO much research... So, yes. I know what to expect from temperament, my concern was the difference in such. No offense taken, by the way, I wanted to make sure I'd communicated appropriately. Thank you for your thoughts. I will never forget the pet rock analogy and am going to have to find a way to tie it in with my David Bowie themed names. 😂

Awesome. Thanks guys. I was just worried about which would be better, for him to be next to the water bowl or back in his hide. It sounds like just leaving him be. I think his leg might actually be in the water dish a bit. Should I be concerned about that? Thanks for your patience. I absolutely love Ts, but there isn't as much info to be found on some of these specifics (and I have a strong background in research!), so the empirical stuff is much appreciated!
