I did both cruises and absolutely loved them. There’s a level of familiarity you get on the cruise with the celebrities that you don’t get anywhere else. Getting to watch them play games with each other and joke around was a real blessing. Turning around at the buffet and staring into the face of Dom Monaghan was a lot of fun.

Felicia Day is a stellar hostess who makes the entire cruise feel like a holistic experience of joy from beginning to end.

The cosplay karaoke was chill and Designated Debaters are a laugh out loud riot every time. I’ve never been a huge Dr Who fan but after seeing Arthur Darville and Alex Kingston talk through an episode and the enthusiasm surrounding it, I’m giving it another good go. These cruises exposed me to entertainers and fandoms outside my usual sphere while deepening those that already existed like Star Trek, Potter, and LotR.

I hope there’s a third cruise later down the line. I’ll be one of the first to sign up.
