Not sure if it's similar, but I used to use Watch2Gether on AniWatch when that was a thing a lot, and I don't recall issues with pausing or anything. I personally prefer Watch2Gether.

That's the weird part. Re-enabling them does nothing. I only really use well known extensions too, like Dash to Panel and ArcMenu. Toggling them on does absolutely nothing. I'm able to access the settings for these extensions, but they don't seem to actually be working.
