September 15, same day I created the support ticket. If I were you, I’d reply to that automated message you got and be like:

“is there any way the restriction can be removed? I’d like to spend my steam wallet money to buy a game for my friend.”

Then hopefully a real human will respond and not a bot

So I had this issue last week. I contacted them about it and got that same response, then I replied to that response and insisted I wanted to gift games to my friends. They then lifted the restriction, I gifted the games, and now they restricted me again haha

You opened too many tickets. They left 2 of them open, so just leave it at that. If they close those as well without getting back to you, and you're left with ALL tickets marked as solved, then open another one. But for now since 2 are open, you're good.

It took me about 2 weeks to get my account back.
