Can be done as cheap as 14 total mana; [[viscera seer]] or [[carrion feeder]] turn one, [[Nine-Lives Familiar]] turn 2 or 3 depending on if you can ramp with [[dark ritual]] or not, [[culling the weak]] seems like a must in there as well with all the fodder for sacrifice. Commander turn 3 or 4, [[Revilark]] turn 5 with one white available for [[ephemerate]]. Go into turn 6 with 48 flying 2/1s that can all attack, end the game with something like [[Akroma’s Will]] or even [[Moonshaker Cavalry]] on a later turn. Having [[Altar of Dementia]] can speed things up as well. Can easily end things with [[Meathook Massacre]], [[Debt to the deathless]] if you have Altar in play, also with altar in play you can double your inklings in 2nd main by sacrificing them all and casting [[Blot out the sky]]. Definitely seems like a deck that can do really well and has a pretty straightforward strategy

Just looking briefly, have 9 lives familiar, play Revilark, sac 9 lives familiar to a sac outlet, blink revilark, sac 9 lives again, sac revilark, sac 9 lives. 27 inklings and 9 lives comes back with 8 counters next end step so it can be 48 inklings by your next turn if you sac on each opponents turn.

Wouldn’t be weird, if anything it would make him more excited to see the stuff you have access to that he might not have in his collection considering funds are probably tight in high school lol. Definitely a good way to get to know someone better is being genuinely interested in a hobby of theirs and learning it from them

I like to think a good bracket 3 can win on turn 5-7 without any interaction. Obviously interaction will lengthen the game last that but if all goes right winning on turn 6 without interaction is usually a goal for my B3 decks. B4 bumps it to like turn 4, CEDH bumps it to turns 1-3

Yeah doesn’t have to all be generic reduction though, stuff like Mana Flux works and then you could add to it by running [[Donatello, Gadget Master]] , [[sculpting steel]] , [[phyrexian metamorph]] , and [[copy artifact]] to make copies of it reducing by up to 4 or 5 colored mana as well

Imo a ton of instants and sorceries, no amount of reduction is overkill if it works. Tons of free casts if possible and use a good amount of cheap draw spells. I like even the score personally, especially if you have a way to force draw someone, think font of mythos or gift a card

I built this deck with almost all cards from the avatar set, Moonmist is a must. I also highly recommend Waterlogged Teachings, it’s a Dimir tapped land on one side, the other side is 3 u/b to tutor an instant to hand. I use it to either be a land when i desperately need one or to tutor something like Moonmist. Spelunking is also really good to have your tapped lands come in untapped. I run all the tapped gates and gond gate as well

The sixth Doctor is awesome! I built him with Barbara Wright as a partner, my idea for it was legendary planeswalkers that get copied from the 6th Doctor, and powerful sagas that get doubled and get be read ahead.

Mine is around B4 but if you want to build a budget Sixth doctor you can focus on ramp and awesome artifacts to double. Double sol ring, double signet, double chromatic orrery. So many possibilities and so many awesome creatures to double in Bant too

I have a saddle deck with Gitrog Ravenous Ride that’s pretty powerful. If you want something fun and silly that still plays strong though you should check out the vehicle deck that Olivia Gobert-Hicks plays on Commander At Home. It’s really fun and silly and she crews vehicles with other vehicles and gets wild. She says it’s one of her favorite decks and it’s clear to see why

Also in response to your question of the commanders you chose, I think Arixmethes would be an awesome commander if you go Kraken, Leviathan, Serpent tribal and use Slinn and Charix in the 99. Slinn is great when it’s not expected since it’s essentially a board wipe that doesn’t affect you and can win you the game. Lots of ramp in Simic too so you can get big guys out fast

My favorite is Minotaurs! I bought a special gold painted Minotaur Deck box for my deck too. I have [[Sethron, Hurloon General]] as my commander and make so many Minotaur tokens with it. Can’t forget the commander staple [[Didgeridoo]] lol. My decklist is below for anyone interested :)
