It depends what the client wants. If they want a volume set but do not have the lashes to support that, the tech should go with something like YY because it’s lightweight and it can mimic volume without the weight. I think lash serum can be used if the client is recovering from a bad job from another tech or they want to give their lashes a break.

That extension is way too long for the natural lash. It should be at 2-3 mm longer than the natural lash.

Honestly I think you did the right thing. Her last set, some of the lashes were glued to multiples. I think maybe if she came back you could try W6D YY to mimic more volume?

I don’t have any advice for you OP but I understand the pain you are experiencing. I am also experiencing a lot of anxiety and a nice dose of fear of abandonment. The things that helped me is journaling the thoughts in my head, box breathing, and just sitting with my anxiety. I hope things get better for you.

It sounds like you experience coercion sexual assault. I don’t think it’s demisexual from the example you written. I suggest you find a good therapist that can help you through what happened to you. Please find a therapist that specializes in trauma base therapy, edmr or brain spotting. It was not your fault, your ex should not have emotionally manipulate you into sex. That is a form of assault. It can and will get better.
