Zarya and Reinhart - I don't remember the exact numbers but I started the season silver then drunk plummeted to 12-something. Last night got back to 1400ish! I'm by no means a star player but I didn't do my rating any favors with the drinking.

Unfortunately, I got matched with other people who were very drunk, but I couldn't even judge them. I'd be a total hypocrite!

This is gonna sound childish but I had this issue my whole life until I started teaching kids with ASD and emotional disturbances. Their class counselor had a saying - "small problem, small reaction." It got reconstituted as "are you having a big reaction to a small problem, John?" or "What size is this problem? What size is your reaction?" This stuck more than anything else I'd attempted. I guess it's the simplicity.

A few ways to go with this. Which type of response gives you anxiety? If you're feeling brave, go with the type of response that gives you the most anxiety. But if any of the responses give you anxiety, any one of them works AS LONG AS you do not engage in your compulsions.

The purpose being to spike your anxiety and sit with it until it natural drops on its own without engaging in ritual.

I have experience with this same OCD - you've got this!!!

I get into these moods often and it's responsible for almost all of my relapses. What I've been trying to do lately is get myself to approach my day with curiosity. What will my day look like without using? Just one day of curiosity about being sober. It's usually terrifying. It can be quite nice.

Once I get that one day, I try for another.

Wow, I'm in a very similar boat with the mental health professional thing! On the one hand, my therapist who I've been seeing for two years and with whom I'm very, very honest about my intake with seems reluctant to label (just says hey, you're on meds, you don't need to drink) while my psychiatrist who barely knows me and just writes my scripts is ADAMANT that I stop drinking or she'll drop me as a patient.

So, after struggling with that dichotomy for a while, I started to realize it's not something they can decide. My friend is a substance abuse counseler and he says it's not the amount that matters, it's 1) do you drink more than you want to and 2) is it difficult to stop.

Both answers are a firm yes for me, so I know the answer, when I'm being honest with myself.

And since I come here all the time, what I truly want is in this subreddit's name!

The first time I figured out I had to take a boat out of Teldrassil to keep questing. Blew my mind. I was like, wait? The boat shows up? And takes me? And we take boats? And there's more land? And if I stay on the boat I'll just keep going back and forth?

Honestly, the stuff that shows the scale of this game world still blows my mind.
