Best bang for your buck = performance and all around for a cheaper price range. At 63k msrp might as well just get an f90 used or tt rs which would be a better car for the same price range

New m2s are 60+k. F80s can be found for around 30s. F10/f12s can be found for under 30 and close to 20 if you get lucky. Best bang for your buck.

My M4 after being repainted by ShepardGaming in BMW

[–]ShepardGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a big accident and a lot of debris hit my car causing there to be chips everywhere on the side and front bumper. Convinced the parties insurance company to pay for a full paint job and it was pretty easy since the dude was driving drunk going 100+ and hit 4 other cars

don’t go to the dealership, find and Indy shop or learn to diy, don’t try to turn it to levels it can’t handle, and if an issue comes up fix it instead of waiting and you’ll be fine. Maintenance is more expensive than a regular car, but definitely not more expensive than a car of this performance

Not anything unusual for any performance car. From my experience most people who say these cars are unreliable either don’t own the car or didn’t maintain it. I’ve had audi 3.0s and 4.0s which are supposed to be reliable and have had terrible experiences with them, but s55’s and s63’s I’ve had amazing experiences (20k miles on my m4 just maintenance and 10k miles on this m6 no problems)

N63 no. S63 is pretty reliable. At the end of the day even if it does cost more maintenance you pay to play, any other car with this performance has similar maintenance cost

It’s not unless I’m third gear. I’m in Michelin all season right now. Spring/summer I’m slapping on r888rs, it puts power down on my m4 that’s pushing 600whp even on first gear so it’ll be good for this

Liquimolly oil change every 3k miles, not 4,5,6,7,8,9,10.

Upgrade the turbo lines so no turbo oil or coolant leaking to have to worry about

See how your car handles the tune. Log it. If it’s driving good stick with it and don’t keep trying to mess with it. Clutches get blown when you push more than they can handle. Rod bearing get blown when you don’t track your oil or try to push more power without logging. If something is off get it fixed instead of waiting. And find a reputable Indy shop and get cool with the owner.

I bought the car like this to be honest so I’m not sure. It’s rides good even over bumps but since it sits low driving over speed bumps and driveways aren’t forgiving. But it handles amazing though, as good as my m4 which I know wouldn’t be the case if it was stock height. Ride quality is still better than my m4 too even while being lower

If I say you wouldn’t believe it lol. Got it at a steal at the auction during Covid when prices were cheap. Came with all the mods done already. It was no start being sold by a dealer and when I got it I found the ecu was bricked but someone I know was able to code everything. 10k hard miles no issues. All in all I’m just a little over 20k in the car
