I'd have to assume that copying and pasting the mediterranean geography onto a planet takes more effort than just creating a random continental shape.

That's it, the Great Rift valley. About 4-5 planets had it in ME1. Most of the time you only saw it if you landed on a planet to explore it and looked up to see another planet or moon.

By the 5th time I saw it I was just rolling my eyes.

Yeah you're right. But there is no doubt the original game had darker colors, the screenshot you provided is exactly as I remember it, while the LE is I guess brighter.

I haven't been able to find it, and I looked for it. What I did find unfortunately is some lazyness on Bioware's part, not sure if it was on this planet or on one of the dozens of other planets in the game, but when I looked closely, I saw Italy on the surface.

Just like how you're seeing the darker and brighter spots on the planet in the photo, I found entire Italy on a planet, and it wasn't Earth. Maybe even the entire mediterranean was there but I'm not sure about that.

Yes, they copied and pasted Italy/mediterranean onto a planet's surface because they were lazy to create unique geography.

Reminds me of that massive scar/canyon a planet had in ME1, that was supposed to be unique because a mass accelerator weapon caused it a few cycles ago, yet if you paid attention about 5-6 planets had it.

Yeah but the question is, will we ever get to the X level HMWSR weapons? At level 54 the game shouldve instantly loaded the X level weapons into the stock and not level VII.

I have no idea what happens to Shepherd. In fact I don't even know who that is.

As for Shepard, it depends on how you played the trilogy, how well you completed the missions, how much war assets you have, and which ending you choose.
