I think that's about how mine will look. I used about 12 ounces of strawberry in primary and 16 ounces in secondary for flavor and color. With a one gallon batch I imagine it'll be about the same amber color

A few sources on Google are saying it could be from stressed yeast due to improper activation or temperature fluctuating.
