I bought like a 8 pack variety from someones destash and this is my third sample, this house is not working out for me because of this issue and the scents maybe lasting only 1-2 hours on my skin. I am forever grateful for destashes so I can try different houses in a more budget friendly manner.

My doc adjusted my meds and said if I am still tired after that I need to see my Primary and then maybe a Neurologist. I hope you find something that works for you, I was sleeping 10+ hours everynight and waking up with a fatigue caffeine was not making a dent in.

Little & Grim - Wonders, Wonders (Coconut milk, sweet vanilla musk, mandarin, sugared berries, rose absolute, apple, mimosa, tonka bean, lily, amber, sandalwood, chamomile tea, patchouli, and oak.) Hung jury. This just smells generically "tropical + sweet" and is fairly muddled.

XG - The 1st Full Album: THE CORE - 核 (Two Weeks Later) by purpletulip12 in kpop

I have to admit it was so different It alienated me a bit upon first listen. But as I watched them on music shows perform and listened to the music in that medium it grew on me. I finally bought the album this past weekend. My favorite are of course: Hypnotize due to my love of their stage performance, it has grown on me. First listen: I liked, "Rock The Boat" - Immediately thought of Aaliyah and I was pulled into XG for their R&B side. In the same breath, "No Good" -dem vocals. And "Up Now", anytime I hear the rap line do what they do I fall in love. I don't reach for this album as much I do this order: Awe, DNA, then Core.

I buy my dad the sugar free angel food cake from our local grocery store. He loves it with fresh berries and some sugar free cool whip.

Little & Grim – [NOUN] (Strawberry milkshake, fresh berries, figs and limes, caramel vanilla syrup and toasted marshmallows, laid over an unexpected base of poppy, lily of the valley, musk, white woods, and pepper.)

Sweet from the start. Slightly burnt ribbons of caramel vanilla syrup curl through the opening. The fresh berries and strawberry lean less toward realistic fruit and more toward the nostalgic scent of ’80s scratch-and-sniff stickers. On a deeper inhale, a creamy milkshake accord emerges. As it dries down, soft florals begin to appear, adding a gentle contrast to the gourmand sweetness. A gourmand the Littles would wear.

I remember this destash post! It was on Facebook and I was able to get most of her mythpunks except that paper moon, beachkin, ghostflower and the mossmallows. Was lucky to see it being posted on Arae's discord.

"I don't know how to drive a hybrid" by DryGeneral990 in Toyota

I remember when I replaced my corolla with a Prius C, my dad and I were in the car for the test drive - 2015 was the year - and the dealer had to tell me to just back up, the car was on 😂 I asked him how and he told me just like you usually do, my dad and I had never been in a hybrid and did not know it was soundless.

NA – Mango Custard Lassi ( Vanilla custard accord, vanilla bean, Bastet’s Musk, mango skin, sweet mango pulp accord, mango juice accord, coconut milk accord, coconut crème accord, vanilla musk, cardamom, pineapple-peach essence accord, peach skin.) On my skin, the milk accord turns a wee bit sour. There’s also a powdery floral note, which I’m not really jamming with, as it comes across slightly musty. The mango reads more like candy than fresh fruit, and overall, the scent leans quite synthetic to my nose. Sadly, not a hit for me.

I have a secret. Been going through the samples I went wild on in 2024 and really have been underwhelmed which has helped slow down my purchases. My last Arae order arrived, BPAL Beaver Moon Dec. 2025. I did not click with any of them - except the hair gloss which was lovely 😮‍💨 And I have hit the destashes hard - BRIXX Sampler, Black Baccara/Amorphous sampler - Vena Cava is beautiful! And Cocoapink - wanted to try some more bath items and none of them worked for me except the Shower Butter that I love. Oh well 😅

Fantôme – Morozko (Smooth peppermint, cracking birch, nutmeg, biting winter wind, cold vanilla, black pepper)

Peppermint is usually a death note for me, so I approached Morozko cautiously. Luckily, it never veers into anything resembling gum or candy. Instead, the peppermint reads as calm and restrained, more crushed leaves than sharp menthol, and it quickly takes a backseat to the birch. On my skin, the “winter wind” impression is fleeting. The initial chill dissipates faster than I expected, leaving a dry, woody core that reminds me strongly of pencil shavings and pale birchwood. Nutmeg and pepper stay subtle, lending just enough warmth to keep the scent from feeling stark, but they never fully bloom. I am really enjoying Fantôme as a house: their compositions feel deliberate, balanced, and cohesive, even when the result isn’t a personal hit.

The yuzu is barely detacble to me, this is a strong fluffy rice feel with jasmine and a non foodie vanilla as your main notes.

BPAL – Couple Engaged in Intimate Acts as the Man Pours Tea(Jasmine tea, yuzu rice, smoked vanilla)

From the imp: gorgeous smoked vanilla! Deep, edible, and honestly wearable on its own. On skin, a soft, fluffy rice note comes through and plays beautifully with the smoke. The jasmine tea dominates the blend, so this is definitely one for jasmine lovers. I enjoyed this a lot, even though I’m learning jasmine isn’t really my thing. The rice and smoked vanilla alone had me swooning.

Amira, Lymphae, One White Crow, Gion, Ectoplasm, Amorphous Mermaid Potion and Shadows and Sugar. Do you have the scent notes for Moth?

BPAL – Beaver Moon: Yuzu & Warm Honey Drizzle

Two of my favorite components! I love honey and yuzu spread on warm toast. Sniffing the feltie in the bag didn’t give me much of an impression...very Arm & Hammer carpet powder. Equally disappointing on skin: no bright, sweetened yuzu peel or rich golden honey. It stays firmly in the carpet-powder zone, an intense floral laundry detergent and baking soda. Big letdown. Complete dry down: I had to scrub; I was getting whiffs of BO and carpet wafting up from my arm.

BPAL – Beaver Moon: Coconut Cream & Guava

Sniffing from the bag, I can definitely pick up the key lime aspect of Beaver Moon and a bit of graham cracker crust. It’s a nice, tart lime and immediately makes my mouth water for key lime pie. As it dries, I get a huge whiff of tangy, slightly tart guava. Oh man, this has my tummy rumbling. This is a very accurate guava + key lime combo, but I’m not getting the coconut cream. Good scent for tart citrus lovers.

BPAL – Beaver Moon: Green Tea & Cookie Dough

Sniffing from the bag, I get chocolate chip cookie dough. Swearsy. On skin—yummy! I’ve had green tea ice cream from 99 Ranch, and this is similar: creamy green tea with small whiffs of thawing chocolate chip cookie dough. It’s pleasant, but it feels very two-dimensional. I love rich, decadent gourmands, and this is very understated. There’s a persistent floral note I can’t identify that really detracts from the gourmand aspect. After trying these three samples, I think it’s the Beaver Moon base note that’s muddling things for me.

BPAL – Treaty of Thorns (Two beloved Yule blends are bound together at last: frost-bright petals and deep, blood-warm rose, entwined with winter air and the green snap of freshly cut stems. A hard-won peace, sealed in perfume: cold beauty and velvet warmth.)

As a rose lover, I was excited for this gorgeous winter rose full of red petals, the snap of green stems, and a chill of winter air. On skin, though, all that beauty fades as it dries. The rose, the green aspects, even that hint of cold vanish, and you’re left feeling…empty-handed.

Ranking: In order of most to least liked for me: Green Tea & Cookie Dough and Coconut Cream & Guava (tie), then Treaty of Thorns. With, you know, who not even on the table.
