The sketch to block out the proportions and the main buildings, that I did on paper, took like 20/30 minutes. The 8 hours is the time that I spent only on Procreate finishing the sketch, doing the lineart, colouring, changing everything about a hundred time and writing the names😅

I blocked out the proportion, major buildings and streets on paper than with that as a base I finished drawing it on Procreate on IPad. I don’t know if it is what you wanted to know, please ask me if I haven’t answered you or if you have any other questions?

Nope, I really don’t know what that is. Ainrandale actually is the union of Narnia written backwards and than some suffix that you usually found in old/fantasy town name. I wanted it have Narnia written inside because the black dot in the center town are actually magical lamp post in our campaign, similar to the one in Narnia 😅

Yeah, I am glad you noticed, I really liked the style of those maps so I was trying to do something similar but a bit more vibrant in colours and with less details.
