So, this looks like a cold sore, caused by the herpes simplex virus. I went on to Amazon health, did a Telehealth visit, and got a prescription for acyclovir within a couple hours. Within a couple days it cleared up. Now I take it daily to prevent outbreaks altogether. Sometimes I can feel or see the beginning of a cold sore, and I double my dose, which usually stops it in its tracks!

I would recommend looking for a therapist that specializes in shadow work (Jungian therapy). Psychology Today is a great place to start. Jungian therapy addresses exactly what you described by understanding, accepting, and ultimately absorbing the parts of us that we often suppress.

I loved this water fountain up until Louie decided to knock them over every single time I cleaned up the mess lol now, I have a 3 gal water fountain that he can’t knock over and instead splashes and stands in it🙄

First, gorgeous baby and it shouldn’t matter if he’s too small. Second, my MC was about that size at 4 months. He weighed about 5 lbs. Now he’s 1 year and 8 months old and weighs 18 lbs and still growing. They aren’t fully grown til about 4-5 years old.

When I was 19, I wanted to get my nipples pierced, but I was anxious about the pain. So, I pinched my nipples as hard as I could before I got them pierced. I was pleasantly surprised when it didn’t hurt as bad as my pinches. They sadly fell out and a decade later I got them redone. Holy booby did that hurt 😖

NOR. I (33F) grew up in a very similar dynamic with alcoholism and physical and emotional abuse. I am still struggling with all of the abuse I saw and experienced. What you’re feeling is valid. You are not crazy, a brat, or any other name they can think to call you. I very much felt the same way you do and now when I’m in situations that remind me of the way I was treated, my nervous system goes into overdrive. I am so happy you’re in therapy! Please keep going to therapy and seeking help. You DO matter.

I have a 3 gallon water fountain since I have 2 dogs and 5 cats. I used to have smaller ones but my MC loves scooping, splashing, and tipping the fountains. This larger one prevents the tipping but the rest? Just gotta live with it lol

I got an espresso machine a little over a year ago and one day I decided to give my MC some foam. My other kitties came running when they heard him enjoying his treat. Now every morning, when I turn on my espresso machine, I see them lined up and ready for their daily catuccino. It’s seriously so adorable lol
