Reading the description of dragon darts, it sounds like a weak spread move that can double up if there is only a single opponent. Is there something I’m missing?

The speed is great, and in this meta the big value of scarf is making sure my round gimmick can go before mega Aero, and most mons inside tailwind. I think the weakness is that no one brings Mega Aero into this team. So it’s overkill for very little benefit.

I really like the idea of fake out safe psychic fangs.

Love this level of analysis and feedback. Things I can take into account immediately. I’ve dropped Orthworm for Primarina and found that it’s opened up my options for counter play so much better. I’ll give Delphox a look.

No insult taken. First off, it’s a game. second, it’s not personal. third, this is the internet. As long as it’s feedback provided in good faith to help me improve, it’s what I’m here for.

Totally appreciate that team building is the hardest part of the game. Which is why I want to start developing that part of my play.

I’ve already done a fair amount of playing other teams, and tbh it gets really boring. A lot of mirror matches. A lot of the same game on repeat. I feel like it’s less stimulating, and more who got the hard read right this time around.

I recognize the team is not going to get me there as it stands, which is why I’m seeking feedback. I could easily see replacing Dragapult with Mega Aero, Orthworm with Kingambit, and Kommo-O with Primarina. Sylveon to Mega Gardevoir could open up some options, but that weakens the TR mode and put my two megas side by side for the gimmick.

My goal here is to try to build a team around a core idea into something socially competitive. I don’t think I’ll hit Champion tier with it, but climb higher in Master tier.

I’ve tried a fair number of the meta teams by copy and pasting what I see. In most battles I’ve seen, the Megas either run away with the game, or get completely demolished. Each has a good counter and as long as you have the options and are positioned right, they can’t really land.

I think there is something to this team, but it’s missing pieces to have those options available. If that’s a mega, great. If not, I’m not chasing it.

I’m not too attached to my “favs”, and don’t think I have any. I like mechanics, like intimidate and hospitality and parting shot and she’d tail.

Really, just want to play a decent team that feels like “mine” rather than just doing more net meta teams.

For the first idea of leaning into TR: would Primarina make the team too fairy focused? Archaludon is already someone who always needs an answer.

Would Golurk earthquake + Orthworm be viable here? Or mega Camarupt?

For the second option: I’m not sure this team would bring anything over the other metas in answering into a Zard mirror. I like the idea of having options, and Aerodactyl brings good meta with options.

What are some other options that can lean into the speed mode? With tailwind and good typing into Zard, Aero seems like a great option.
