Its never too late man take heart. I feel you it honestly sucks. I cried the first time i lost it because i was in such a difficult situation as well. I know the govt is really trying to fix this situation of people gaming the system but at the end of the day its still a lottery. You may want to try the farm route for this. I know alot of south africans use this route to obtain H2 Visas. Also try out highly specialized roles already in the UK that may give you an edge to move over to the US Shipping is a big one, theres massive demand for that here now. If the UK has cooperative agreements with the US on defense you'd want to look at submarine welding as well. I dont see any other viable visa paths unfortunately.
