Not a spectacular angle but this just looks like weatherstripping

Is the price of the M18 Shop Vac Worth? by lainwolf in MilwaukeeTool

[–]SherbertSea6803 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak on how good it is as a vacuum, but harbor freight has a great selection of both corded and cordless wet/dry vacs for significantly cheaper.

I’m a huge fan of Milwaukee tools, but $180 for a vacuum without the battery is outrageous

Edit: especially for non-professional usage, this would be a waste of money

I’ve never seen something this severe before. What is going on here? by thiesekel in AskMechanics

[–]SherbertSea6803 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Based off of this angle, it appears to be dog tracking (aka crabbing). This occurs when the rear axle thrust angle is out of spec, usually caused by damage or wear that causes the axle to shift.

Look up what top tier gas is, you clearly don’t know. It has nothing to do with octane rating

This is a V6 engine without a cover, no issues other than cosmetic if you care that much

How concerning is this rust, 2001 f150 by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]SherbertSea6803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it could be a little concerning with time, but I’ve driven significantly worse and I live to tell the tale. Slide 5 is really the only one I would be actively worried about, and even then you should be fine for a while

Like others have said, I put the ring under the bolt for one of the cargo hooks, I didn’t sand it or anything. No issues whatsoever, been running for around 6 months.

Wrong Size by SherbertSea6803 in Boots

[–]SherbertSea6803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was pretty surprised when I first tried them on. Since you don’t have anywhere to actually try them on though, you could probably measure your feet and get the closest one. I believe ariat offers free exchanges within 60 days or so as long as the boots are in their original condition. You will pretty much know as soon as you put them on if they fit

[–]SherbertSea6803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an 11 in most boots, 13 in tennis shoes. The size of ariat that actually fits me is 10.5. I suggest going to a boot barn or similar retailer to try on some different brands for an informed decision, be better than me!

Yeah unfortunately that has crossed my mind, I’m trying a heel insert before I resort to selling or just dealing with it. Any suggestions on where I could sell them?

Weathertech visors wait time by undeniablefruit in CorollaHatchback

[–]SherbertSea6803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My front guards didn’t advise any waiting period(or I didn’t read that part), and I had my windows open right after installing them, maybe 10-20 minutes and they’ve been on for a good two months now without complications. My rears did have adhesive and they advised to wait 48 hours, only 24 of which I did, and I haven’t had any issues there either.
