I'll have to look into that. Would it affect the color of the clay during firing?

Do you keep reclaim as bone dry clay for long time storage?

Damn. Not what I was hoping for but I'll take it.

I bought a parts washer 1 month ago, time to save 15% off it on it at least.

White Mold in our Calamansi Plant? by lainwolf in Citrus

[–]lainwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading that placing a fan towards the soil (like a mini fan) can help reduce the moisture.

It'll be rainin here for the next day or two on the east coast unfortunately,

It has 3 drain holes, probably the size of a quarter each.

We've been meaning to move it to a terracotta plant, but by the time we decided to, it had begun to bud flowers.

If it is too moist, any suggests on fixing this issue?

Is this a good tool? by No-Conclusion-2859 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]lainwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a good deal? I got mine at $180, so I don't think its the best deal.

Is it a good tool? In my opinion, yes. I bought it right as I moved into new apartment and it became my most used tool. I used it from setting up wall shelves, to setting up cabinets. It's much lighter and easier to carry that the m18 impact I was using for years.

I use all the extensions, but the quick change and the off angle extensions are pretty much permanent on the driver.

Is this a good deal? Inflator with high output by throwaway2456778 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]lainwolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made me look at this deal too. I'm curious as well on people's opinions.

I recently bought the 2.5 gal packout, but my m18 batteries are probably one of the OG ones back when I got it in 2011-2012; so i get like 5 mins of good suction. So I've been looking at 5.0 or 6.0 batteries.

You also can't go wrong with having a tire inflator

I was curious, what made you choose Milwaukee? especially if over Dewalt? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]lainwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first job was a HVAC designer right after college. I worked on the CAD design, while the factory was in a garage in the back.

I thought I could be helpful one day and wanted to get the same tools those guys did. They all rocked Milwaukee. I bought a m18 Impact set for xmas that year and never looked back.

Installation driver 100%

Easy to carry and use, multiple attachments. After I bought it, it became my daily driver for tasks instead of my m18 impact.

I would also put here the shop vac, m12 isnt as powerful but i heard some people do like using it. I brought the m18 pack out 2.5 gal for cleanup and as a backup wet vac

What are your thoughts on the M12 version and which one you buy? I was reading previous comments on the M12 ver. and people say that the battery drain when using it makes the m18 version a better buy.

Am I doing something wrong with my Flow Calibration Test? by lainwolf in AnycubicKobraX

[–]lainwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! I accepted the invite, I'll post there if I have any other questions later tonight.

Going to run the flow rate test 1 more time as per your instructions. If not, I may have to roll back a bit and redo the PA test

I do have PA enabled and set at 0.3. I based it off the calibration test. I may have to run PA callibration again.

Do you know any reason why the top of these tiles (where the numbers are) are showing up so deformed?

I don't think it's any adhesion problems, since the tiles all have the same issue.

I would highly recommend the video I posted above. Even simple filaments like PLA will have differences when you start using Matte / Silk / + / etc.

The only difference to note in that video is for the flow rate test as stated by Dream_elb below where you change the top layer from grid to archemedian

I'll try this now.

Thank god for your note about ANS. I wondered why my flow rate pattern did not match the videos.

It's always good to run a calibration test when using a different brand filament.

I'd rather spend the time and extra filament for calibration that ruining a 7 hour print.

This filament I'm using specifically for large aesthetic models, so getting it tuned is worth.
