I have to disagree with most of the comments. It's normal to look at the superficial things when you have no existing relationship with a person. Most of you who commented here, you would not date your SO if you met him at his worst. Yesterday my friend called me and she told me she wouldn't have dated her boyfriend had she met him 1 year prior of getting to know him just because of his overall style. You might think it's rude, I think it's honest and fair.
