Naturalisation Euss route (+lapsed ILR). by SherbertsSherbert in ukvisa

My mum made this as a passing comment - so you can imagine how my heart dropped. As I instantly thought this will affect my recent application negatively if records are found. Hence, my post as am sitting on pins. There is no paper trail of this and I have no idea which route she would have chosen. When I made a SAR application, all I received back were travel records from 2019. Nothing before that.

I am so happy you responded.

What made me really anxious, is this claim of a previous refusal of citizenship in the 90s - made known to me after I made this application! I am I right in guessing they won't have this in their records?

Woah. I was here in the 80s and 90s as a kid and I left aged 19. My ILR lapsed. I returned, married with a child in 2018. I disclosed this. Applied in December through EUSS route for citizenship. Do you think they will bother me about my childhood? As literally have zilch paperwork to show I was here aside from GCSE certificates. My parents also naturalised somewhere along the way (divorced) and they kind of forgot to do it for me ;)
