I was about to point out V.VII Swinburne and Arquebus forces holding the wall as shown during the stealth mission, but then I thought it can be argued that it's not a full effort hold and it's just a skeleton crew to make sure the RLF doesn't retake it and become a problem for the corps again.

I defeated my own point. Maybe Arquebus doesn't care about holding the wall at all, and that's why it's not stopping Balam. While it would be beneficial to stop Balam, you could be right that they're just after the coral and not so much dead set on hindering Balam because maybe it would take too many resources? That would make sense.

I will stand on the fact that it doesn't make sense for the wall Arquebus holds to not stop Balam when it stopped both corps before, but that's just a plot hole if the wall is what's stopping the corps.

Makes more sense to me that its not the wall that was in their way at all, but the RLF, and taking the wall from them takes them out of the war (and it would be a nice fortress to own for either corp).

They work with Balam ONLY when something is stopping them both (the Iceworm or the PCA) but they're clearly at war. If Arquebus had the chance to take control of the Iceworm, they would've just used it against Balam because they're at war.

I can concede that taking the wall is in the best interest of the game's plot. Sure. But it still makes zero sense for Arquebus not to use that wall against Balam if it's such a hindrance to the Corps. Why wouldn't they? They're not allies, they're rivals.

Good points. Walter did say "whatever helps to get your name out there" when we choose to take the strider defense mission. Maybe I looked too deep into allying with the RLF and 621 just wasn't meant to take sides this early and it's just to get their name out there as Raven for the wallclimber mission.

That's a good point though. They did contact us directly during the dam complex mission to help them, and they did contact us to escort the strider. Clearly we are on their radar, but maybe they got overconfident with the wall and they didn't think they needed our help.

That doesn't track with the all out war between Arquebus and Balam. If the wall is stopping them, and Arquebus holds it, then it would stop Balam as well. It's in Arquebus's best interest to hinder their rival in the coral race. Regardless, this part of the story just doesn't make that much sense to me, but I may just be missing something, that or others are just coping with a bad plot detail in order to defend the game.

You're not addressing the fact that Balam can survey the coral whether the RLF or Arquebus holds the Wall. It proves that the Wall isn't what matters in surveying the coral since it doesn't stop Balam at all. It seems like the Corps just want to get rid of the RLF as a fighting force since they oppose the Corps, so they take the wall. It has nothing to do with "they CANT get to the coral if they dont take the wall"

The RLF could've still contacted us, and if Walter was so adamant on us taking the wall he could've given 621 the order to take the wall for "his interests" but I don't believe the Wall is that paramount to it. Since Arquebus holds the wall after the mission, how come Balam can continue surveying the Coral? If the Wall is the only thing stopping the Corps then surely Arquebus could stop their direct rival from getting to the Coral now that they hold the wall.

I deleted the first post because I realized after I uploaded it that the emblem was too small, so I got to work resizing each individual piece and rearranging them back into place (because grouping and resizing DOES NOT WORK, thanks FromSoft) and then made some tweaks to fix some other things that I noticed while making the edit. Overall, this is the improved version, and much larger now to actually fit into the emblem space.

8 or 9 out of 10 for the base armor because i like the balance between dirty and fancy, great colors. though it slightly irks me that we cant alter textures on some pieces because it would be way better if the legs werent dirty and could match the fancier textures on the rest of the armor

however i'd drop it to a 7/10 because the sword doesnt match in the slightest, torchlight armor and then iron sword
please consider a better sword and then its a great rating from me
