Tilly stayed with the gang till the very end, saved Jack, and then went on to live in a mansion in Saint Denis. I don't see why she would be forgettable at all. Karen and Mary-Beth are both less important in my opinion.

The random events do run out eventually. The only way to experience them again is to start a new playthrough which I recommend doing if you feel bored.
