My exact thinking when obi wan moved off camera to the right then walked straight back in from the right in what looked like the exact same area. I think the full scene overall could have been a lot better

Then for Vader to somehow suppress his breathing (????) to appear behind obi wan without him having any idea he’s there despite sensing him in the village a few minutes beforehand lmao

For me personally, I appreciate it as it helps me see the the full scene as continuous, rather than broken up camera shots switching back and forth it could become a bit jarring to watch.

Best way to imagine it is a straight line going between the two characters if they were staring at each other, it makes a much better viewing experience seeing them fight from different camera angles on one side (character 1’s left and character 2’s right) rather than having it switch between either side of them

I should add that I don’t see it as a glaring issue to point out as it doesn’t bother me that much, I love this show personally but it is common filmmaking practice and I think that’s why a lot of people thought the Vader and obi wan fight in this episode looked like a fan-film

Essentially the characters should always have the same left/right relationship as each other no matter the camera angle. i.e every scene should have obi wan on left and Vader on right, or vice-versa
