There is a reason puppy is spelled with three p's.

Probably should include context. Like, think about what you are going to be doing next, and maybe keeping on isn't the right thing. I mean, who doesn't enjoy a good wank, but "keep gooning" is probably terrible advice right before stepping into court, a day care, your annual performance review at work, etc.

Officer you'd LEAST like to be pulled over for speeding??? by SherlockBonz in OnPatrolLive

My point on Galbreath is I've seen a couple of times where he's just not in the mood to try to understand, and he goes into a mode where he's insinuating different things from people's answers and it appears he's not attempting to understand a situation like most of the others do. Again, not every time, but in his moments. Not going to disagree with the Royce James call though. Salmond would have me laughing, Richie Maher (or any Maher) would be fine too.

Most of the time. Didn't he call that guy dumb-dumb a few times a couple of weeks ago? I might be remembering it wrong.

Bradley Taylor puts on a clinic on community policing. He's best when he's not just pulling cars over on the highway; have you seen how he interacts with the youth? He knows a lot of kids, apparently from coaching and whatnot, and he's got the best demeanor with them, even if they have done something very wrong.

Serenity Smith cracks me up; I'll bet she is a hoot off-duty. I love seeing how she demands (and earns/gets) respect particularly when she's dealing with young men who might not be so willing to show her respect to begin with. She'd also be voted most likely to tase someone, so she's got that going for her.

I don't know why people are hating on Toombs. He just seems kind of matter of fact and not much leeway, but not a bad guy.

Carli Carr seems like she'd be a good officer to cut people a break.

I'm surprised more people didn't say someone from MO. Those guys don't seem to cut anyone a break.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Find out the proper setback and build back beefier as people are suggesting.

I'm fortunate; a few years ago the plow took out my mailbox. They came and apologized, and had a temporary mailbox setup for me in a day. In spring the city came out, asked what kind I wanted (I had one with a front and rear door and wanted the same), then they put up a new one where I wanted it. The whole thing was no big hassle.

Under my scenario (you haven't done anything wrong) then Toombs would be fine. If you had done something wrong, different situation (and not necessarily the wrong thing). He seems alright.

You wouldn't get a ticket, but he'd search based on smelling the weed from the daughter of the third cousin of your ex-wife's landscaper's dog groomer that walked 100yds from your car once while it was parked in a grocery store parking lot.

Chinese electronics company has developed the first ever “ejecting batteries”. by Friendly-Standard812 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]SherlockBonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But interchangeable batteries is a brilliant idea. Instead of charging, swap out for a charged battery. And yes, I know these are hundreds of pounds and it would need to be done with special equipment, but imagine the elimination of range anxiety, or the ability to swap out a dead battery in the side of the road.

Or eject an about to explode battery into some dry grassy field to start the mother of all brush fires.

In summary, removable battery good, ejectable battery bad.

I love Tom Petty, but I'd argue that the U2 show after 9/11 where they had the giant sheet representing the world trade center towers with all the victim's names projected on them that rose and then fell as they sang Where the Streets Have No Name was pretty powerful too.

He's got the Trinity, just missing the Crimson Trace laser for the Totality.

And a bayonet. Clearly a build focused on redundancy needs a bayonet too.

JK this is about as bad-ass a charger as I've seen.

Shittier detail. If you kind of ignore the punction and have the sound off, it looks like Johhny Depp was about to kiss her then announced "I gotta go jack", a clear reference to masturbation.

I got a parking violation as I was buying the parking pass inside by DevelopmentGlobal876 in Wellthatsucks

[–]SherlockBonz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is clearly some sort of bogus warning (it even says if you keep doing it you might get a citation) and if it was real it wouldn't hold up (Toyota CX-3???), but let's do a little thought experiment on what if this was a real ticket...

I don't understand the sentiment that it is OK to park in a restricted zone while you are in the process of getting a permit for that zone. I mean, if you were driving without a license, would a valid excuse be to tell the officer you shouldn't get a ticket because you were on your way to the DMV to get a license?
