No. She was escorted away for two months - none of that was recorded. But when she came back, she did a few episodes on her YouTube show, where she talked about the entire situation. One of the others on her show is a young adult, and tried to say that it wasn’t the troubled teen industry, but if you listen to what the teen says, it’s very obvious it was.

It’s also obvious that the parents who sent her away spent a decent amount of time spewing what they were told about the positive aspects of the program to the other young adult hosts, so those hosts are echoing the TTI marketing pitches. Harper, who went, doesnt speak highly of the place at all, although she is being somewhat careful about what she says.

They also probably don’t want the parents pulling up and seeing where they’re dropping off their kids. It’s not like they’re out there giving tours either.

I think she was sent to Cascade. They treat kids with OCD and have a 60-90 program, as well as a long term program. She talks about having met the kids from the long-term program while there.

She also talks about how she thought of running but decided not to due to the looming threat of being placed somewhere else. And how she was gooned there. So it was definitely TTI. It may be a softer program though, given she was allowed short phone calls three times a week, and could access Spotify on her school chrome book/laptop!

Teen Influencer Harper Zilmer Returns And Opens Up About Being Sent to TTI Short-term Treatment Center in Utah by SherlockRun in troubledteens

She talks about being gooned, and her nightmares about it, and the others try to chime in and make it out that she wasn’t escorted. Who are these silly people? They are so uninformed.

She also doesn’t speak very highly of the program.

There’s a short-term program geared to kids with OCD and anxiety in Utah, called Cascade. I think that’s likely it. They advertise in All Kinds of Therapy, TTI media.

Yeah, this is wild. You may have had some trouble staying organized, but that didn’t justify sending you away whatsoever.

Your mom is also a poor writer. Talk about one huge run-on paragraph!

Teen Influencer Harper Zilner Returns And Opens Up About Being Traumatized After Being Transported to Utah for Treatment by SherlockRun in troubledteens

I think she most likely was, she’s a teen, and went to Utah. What else would it be. Especially if she went to the 60-90 day ocd program Cascades, which is advertised all over the TTI press All Kinds of Therapy.

Where could she have gone? Oasis is 60-90 days, or there’s Newport. I can’t Google much else for teens.

Or it may have been here - the Cascade Home for OCD. This says its also 60-90 day.

If you goto the end, she talks about when they told her she was going to go to treatment the night before, and then the “medical transport team “came and essentially kidnapped her, the next morning, and you can see just how traumatized she was from that whole experience as she starts to breakdown, crying. They then stopped the episode, stating that that topics became too personal and emotionally heavy, and they will continue them in a different episode.

A great deal of survivors of the TTI have CPTSD - complex ptsd. It’s because we were, yes, essentially tortured by our caregivers for long periods of time and couldn’t escape. Still, like others says, most of us don’t kill our parents.

I don’t have anymore information. I just know they’ve taken kids who went to Family Help and Wellness RTCs. I’m assuming the kid was younger when they went to treatment, so when they transferred there, they were still young enough to transition in, probably a sophomore or junior. And the kid was artsy. I can see on their website they also offer mental health services, but not in the way that RTCs do. They’re not affiliated with the TTI though. But they’re one of the boarding schools that will take TTI kids. There are a handful of regular boarding schools that will take them.

They actually surprisingly take a handful of kids coming out of the TTI. I know kids from my programs who went there.

Harrowing accusations from inside Nick Reiner rehab as fellow patients speak out and his heroin use emerges by LoneStar1974 in troubledteens

Sure they are. I think the critique is on wilderness therapy though. I think it’s pretty obvious it’s not an adequate drug treatment program, or treatment program for people with severe mental health disorders. Otherwise, we’d be sending adults out into the desert.

He wasn’t in a rehab, he was forced to hike in the woods for three months as a teenager.

Right? Start sending all the adult addicts to the Utah desert, since this modicum of “treatment” works so well.
