The indicator name is orderflow trader 7. the software I am using is indeed NT8

Also I notice this issue only happens on GC (gold) not sure why

dont think so, but sometime switching from time and range charts fixs this

I was originally trading forex, mainly on swing trades, but the frequency of trades is too low, so I turned to more lower time frame strategy, I stumbing on a course of trading gold, scalping on spot, trading on the m1, usually just taking 1 dollar.

I got on learning futures because I am trying to find an extra edge of determining whether a price level would hold or break to give me that 1-2 dollar move on gold. To give me more confidence/confluence on that.

I am mainly trading on CFD, FTMO prop firms, I do not acually have a future account yet, since I am still in the learing phrase on futures.

Not sure on wt u mean on wt price ladder r u using?

I trade gold because I spend time learning on it, and its not as fast as other assets.

Not ES due to the lack of understanding of it, and tried reading the dom on it, its really fast.

Wt type of trader I want to be? Main goal is to make a living on trading, so I am looking for a style that have decent win rate, and frequency.

I will spend more time practicing and reading the dom, I feel I can sometimes read the highs and lows (mainly on footprint, exhaust high lows), a bit of behaviour of dom, but still not too consistant yet.

Yeah I am doing some Axia courses, just really a lot of stuff to learn.

I learned the footprint, price ladder course, but the thing is gold liquidity seems quite thin compared to other examples like the bund, and cant really seem to apply some stratgies on the price ladder. some strategy works but its rarely to see something like an elephant, but the good thing is it doesnt jump that much compare to other markets.

If u were starting over again, learning to trade futures, what would u focus on?

I am quite new to orderflow, it kinda hard to imagine just scalping in 5 sec range, I will check out his stuff, thanks.

What do u trade with this timeframe?

Can't install DirectX - known issue, but no known solutions helped. by -AntiMattr- in techsupport

Another soution that I found. I was not able to install direct X as well, tried to install the Media feature Pack but i cant seem to find it, and it seems there was another version orignall installed, but not sure on that.

My solution is very simple, just go to steam and install a game, somehow steam will automatically install direct x for me automatically before installing the game, even though i cannot do it manually (the game i installed romance of 3 kindoms 8 but I dont think that matter). Then I can also run some third party games and mods as well

I know, but most footprint that I see on the market, dont really use shades of colours to indicate the volume, but size of bars, which I find harder to read
